Sideswept bangs hair style?

Okay, so I decided I AM getting sideswept bangs, but I'm trying to decide how to cut/style my hair to go with the bangs. I have an oval shaped head, brown hair, and a relitvly big forehead. My hair is pretty thick, and straigtens well with a straightner. It is currently a little longer than shoulder length, and all the same length. Should I get it cut shorter? Should I straigten it every day?

Here is a picture of me (I really don't care that it's a bad picture):

Here is some pictures with the type of bangs I'm getting:

What do you think I should do with my hair?

I would say to get small layers. Not too extreme, if that will be the length of your bangs, but to make the ends a bit more choppy. I don't think straight across cuts flatter face structure. You seem to have hair like mine, how you described it, and thats basically my style.

I also have sideswept bangs, brown hair, and an oval-ish face. Usually I just wear my hair in a messy bun. Layers typically look really nice with side bangs, but are not necessary of course. I think your hair length will probably be fine.

I have the side bangs going on too, and I like having a little bit of layering and maybe my length is a little shorter than yours. I also wear mine up in a messy bun most of the time...

Give this one a look: http://www.hairfinder.com/articles2005/p... I think a style like this would look fantastic on your facial structure and skin tone.

Keep in mind that since you do have an oval shape face almost any style or length you choose will look good on you.
